In this very inspirational video in the archive of TATE Modern, you will watch a brief summary of first Tuekish woman painter Fahrelnissa Zeid. She was a dedicated artist and innovative woman. You can also get some tips on painting from the first hand.

I was impressed by what she said about painting, "Painting is not photo, it is soul."

Tanya Bruguera is an altermodernist artist and activist. Through art, she calls for change, questions the role of emotions in politics, which she calls as useful art. Just as  I think that many political problems reson from not showing respect and understanding to eachother, Bruguera also tries to attract attention to main global concerns like institutional power, borders and migration. Her interdisciplinary  work spans include performance, events, action, film, installation, sculpture, writing and teaching alongside site-specific works.  In her installation at TATE she created an environment to make people understand the refugees. It is an interesting idea and experience. Also pay special attention the the role of the audience.

Basquiat documentary is a close up to his personal and artistic life. It is like watching and catching a city legend on work. I sensed his childish and humorious personality behind the rebel mask.

Hirst is one of Saatchi's discoveries. He causes debates and turns artistic perceptions ups and down. But he must be a happy artist because he has been reported as the richest living British artist.

The interview is old, from 2002, however it is interesting to see how he makes predictions about his future and how self confident he is.

Story of the Saatchi brothers who opened a new page in the art history. Saatchi art gallery is famous for collecting emerging artists' works and selling them when it is time. This could also be the story of how to make a fortune from unpopular artists.

II appreciate Denzel Washington's ambition and dedication in life. It is a motivational video from his own words.

Picasso is not only an artist but also a casanova. I like his life story. And does not love start with loving one's story? I love Picasso, his works, his mindset and his soul. Video narrates his life at different eras. I also suggest watching BBC's Picasso, A Genious series.

I like Jeff Koons world of wonders. His colours are stunning. In this video you can rather observe his working sytem, his kingdom.MAny people say he is rather a businessman managing a team very wll because he has a team of assistant artist and he makes them work for his own productions. Another debate : would that be still art if the artist is not producing it?

Evolution of art in the history. Sometimes it is good to see the timeline and developments.

A MODEST PROPOSAL: LET'S EAT CHILDREN

Cuban performance artist Tania Bruguera’s work centers around censorship -- and has been labeled as dangerous by the Cuban government. This has not stopped her from creating work that catalyzes social change and aims to make people active. This sharp talk of her makes us question the abnormalities in the society that we see as normal.

This week we explore some of the most powerful artworks ever made, making the case for political art one work at a time. Pablo Picasso's Guernica, Kathe Kollwitz's prints, Kazimir Malevich's Black Square, Iri and Toshi Maruki's Hiroshima Panels, and Martha Rosler's House Beautiful: Bringing the War Home photomontages. What do you think of as political art? And what are the artworks you've encountered that have had the greatest impact on the way you view the world?

Cramerotti identifies this "investigative approach" in contemporary art and photography as the use of fieldwork, reportage, interviews, document analysis, graphic mapping and information distribution. For Cramerotti, Aesthetic Journalism implies the critical use of documentary techniques and journalistic methods where the medium itself undergoes questioning. He posits that aesthetics, understood as a "process in which we open up our sensibility to the diversity of the forms of nature and manmade environment can open up the mechanisms of art and media to expose the limitations of photojournalism, documentation and the ethics of representation. In doing so, Aesthetic Journalism renders productive readings of reality, information, fact, fiction and objectivity.Although "the process leading up to aesthetic journalism can be considered from both perspectives as art being absorbed by the generalist media, or as journalism becoming a common art form" Cramerotti's text speculates on the mutual convergence of art and media into a new cross discipline of Aesthetic Journalism.

Ai Wei Wei is famous for his political stand and art works combining the traditionals of China with the facts of modern world. In this personal and profound discussion about his art, his political activism, and his current effort to shed light on the global refugee crisis, learn about his family background, his time in a Chinese prison and about his thoughts on the current political situation in China.

Artist, activist, and educator Kate DeCiccio believes that art can be a powerful tool for self-reflection, for resistance, and for building community. One of her poster creations was highly visible at the Women’s March on Washington, to which she also brought a large artwork in her continuing series addressing the effects of police brutality.

The food chain of emperor country and its subject country. Ireland was the colony of great British and all the resources were take away the the absent landlords. Only the poor left. Jonathan Swift wrote his " modest proposal " to sell the poor children as commodities to the fine English Gentlemen. It was satirically depicting how brutal situations the poor were in just like the situation in Yemen.

You can watch and find the similarities between to cases of human crises despite the 170 years between.
